Wow. Well, I am happy to report I am in the land of the living. Peter and I were in Bermuda on Saturday, and my flight departed at 4pm (3pm EST). By the time I connected in Atlanta and got on my plane home with all the rain and thunderstorm delays, I finally arrived to my home airport at 11:30PM, and after getting my luggage and to the car and drove home, it was 12:30AM.
The next morning I was on a flight at 7AM so I had to be up at 4:30AM, resulting in very little sleep.
I arrived in DC OK, but certainly went to sleep very early that night. Peter keeps marveling over the 24 hours where we traveled from Bermuda to Washington DC with short stops at our homes. I’m amazed at how good we’re faring with such demands on the body.

Look at the gorgeous water in this picture! I just had to share it with you guys:

Bermuda has always been a very special place for Peter and me and we’ve been lucky to spend well over 100 days there during the past 10 years (thanks to Peter’s day job). We have really gotten to know the island in a very intimate way and Peter has been there for hundreds more days without me and has made many great friends there. It is a place that make you feel like you are almost at the end of the world. You can look out into the ocean and not see another piece of land….the closest land mass is Antartica, looking due south.
One of my favorite places is in the hot tub at the Fairmont Southhampton Princess just outside their spa. The hotel is on a hillside overlooking the ocean and you can look out at dusk and see into infinity. Peter and I sit there with a nice glass of wine while soaking in the wonderfully hot water and there is nothing more relaxing. It is such a gorgous place!
Counting the hours until I’ll be lounging in that hot tub….

Here are a few pictures of me walking around Reston Town Center, in Reston, Virginia. Peter and I had just had dinner at Clyde’s…a wonderful 1-1/4 lb. lobster special! I know I picked a lot of photos to post here, but I just couldn’t whittle them down. The scarf is a gorgeous Versace and I’ve worn in it only one video before (where I play a ruthless bankrobber who takes Peter hostage) and it really dresses up any outfit I add it to.

Here are a few photos from the footage we’re getting for a custom video assemblage. I’m just doing a bit of window shopping at the mall, as well as buying a cup of tea, etc. I really like wearing this style of head scarf. It’s a casual look and a departure from the more formal classic and “Kelly” styles.

Peter and I are now in Virgina/DC area after a few days in the land of steaks, AKA Kansas. I get to go home for one night, and then to Bermuda for a week, back to DC, and then to Dallas.
Luckily I do get to go home in between most of the different trips. But only for about 24 hours or less.
Peter and I shot some video footage (and some stills) for a custom video we’re in the process of shooting a lot of headscarf footage for.
I’ll post some of those pictures in the coming days.

We shot a wonderful custom video for a friend of ours from Europe who loves headscarves as much as Peter does. He is the same friend who commissioned “The Ride to Pleasure“, which I think many of you have seen. There will be more photos from this shoot to come.
